About
Mara Keen’s most notable work is Princess Power on Netflix. After graduating with a masters in studio composition from SUNY Purchase in May 2022, Mara has assisted Emmy winning composer JP Rende, interned with the New York Women in Film and Television, studied under Broadway Music Directors including Geoffrey Ko (The Notebook), and is an active member of the Society of Composers and Lyricists, Maestra, the Alliance for Women Film Composers, and the New York Post Alliance. In February 2024 Mara was the sound designer and sound mixer for writer Gabrielle Fox’s Welcome to Theatre, directed by Emmy winning producer Annetta Marion. In March 2024 she was accepted into GRAMMY U.
